POLICE have launched a new appeal for help in the search for a teenager missing from home for almost two weeks.
Leighton Candeland was last seen on Egremont Promenade on Saturday (June 27).
The 17-year-old is around 5' 11" tall, of slim build with short brown curly hair.
When last seen, Leighton was wearing a Rab jacket, a white t-shirt, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
He is known to frequent areas of Wirral.
It is also believed he may have travelled to the Shropshire area or Wrexham in North Wales.
Leighton, or anyone with information on his whereabouts, is asked to contact @MerPolCC, 101 or charity @missingpeople on 116 000.
