A MAN charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a St Helens man as thousands of Liverpool football fans gathered at the city's Pier Head following the club's title triumph has appear in court today.
Craig Campbell, 26, of Lemon Street in Kirkdale, appeared before Liverpool Magistrates' Court.
This follows a 32-year-old man from St Helens suffering serious facial injuries. He remains in hospital in a serious condition.
Campbell's case was adjourned until July 27 when he will appear at Liverpool Crown Court.
He has been released on conditional bail.
