A KIND-HEARTED girl organised for an ice cream van to visit her great grandma's care home during lockdown.
Abbie Pullen, from Culcheth, taught herself how to make bracelets and key chains and sold these to fundraise for staff and residents at Holcroft Grange Care Home.
The nine-year-old decided that it would be a nice idea for the money to be used to hire an ice cream van to treat the residents and hard working staff in the warm weather.
Abbie donated the extra money she had leftover to Holcroft Grange so it can be used for their entertainment programme.
Her mum Nicki, said: "It was a lovely afternoon seeing her great grandma with one of the ice creams that she made happen."
