THE much-loved Poundbakery is reopening its Warrington store this week after closing during lockdown.

The Golden Square bakery will be serving the 'vast majority' of its range from Friday, June 5 and breakfasts will be served all day for the first few days of trading.

While Poundbakery has been closed during lockdown, the company says it has 'reviewed its existing cleaning and sanitising procedures to restrict any potential spread of the virus'.

Staff have been equipped with PPE and the stores have all been deep cleaned.

A two-metre distance must be maintained inside the bakery and floor directions will enable this.

The shop will be open Monday to Saturday 9am until 3pm initially and closed on Sundays.
