A FIRE involving trees in Runcorn is being treated as arson.
Firefighters were called following reports of a grass fire near Astmoor Road around 6.23pm yesterday (Thursday) evening.
One fire engine attended from Runcorn
On arrival the crew found a quantity of dry bushes and trees well alight. One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
It is believed that this fire had been started deliberately.
