FOUR people in Runcorn will be popping open the champagne having each received a cash prize of £1,000 thanks to their postcode.
The Victoria Road neighbours landed the windfall when WA7 5BH was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery winner yesterday, Thursday.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson sent his well wishes and said: “I’m over the moon for our winners in Runcorn.
"A big congratulations to everyone. I hope they celebrate and enjoy spending the cash.”
A minimum of 32 percent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted by ActionAid which has received more than £8.4 million in funding to change the lives of disadvantaged women and children all over the world.
