A LITTLE boy with a big heart wanted to help doctors fighting coronavirus.

Harlee Forsey, five, from Winsford, decided to run a mile and brother Codey, four, tagged along.

Doctors and nurses were overwhelmed with their efforts as the brothers have raised almost 600 for NHS charities.

Mum-of-for Leanne, owner of Guyz and Dollz hair salon, said: "Harlee has taken a real interest in the pandemic and wants to be a doctor when he grows up.

"He wanted to raise money and kept coming up ideas. Then he suggested running a mile.

"Doctors, nurses and paramedics have been sending him messages of thanks. He was so happy. He feels like he has done something."

Harlee is a pupil at Whitegate Primary School in Northwich.

"Kids used to look up to Batman and Superman but now doctors are their heroes," said Leanne.
