VANDALS set fire to a grade-II listed building yet again.
Fire crews from Blackburn and Pendle attended a roof fire at the old Griffin Lodge at Witton this morning.
It was started deliberately as two crews were at the scene for two hours puting it out.
This is not the first time the grade-II building, which dates back to 1824 has been targeted by arsonists.
It has been empty since 2006 and fires have deliberately been started on a number of occasions, completely destroying the stables and ruining parts of the lodge.
It was built by Thomas Dugdale, who was mayor of Blackburn in 1845.
