A WARRINGTON-based business offering tuition to pupils has moved its services online to help with home schooling.

Conexus Tuition, which operates across the borough, responded to school closures with a range of free online classes and events to help parents keep their children motivated during the Covid-19 crisis.

There are a selection of free sessions, covering English, maths, science, business studies and other topics every week.

Daily live teaching is also running across a range of subjects and age ranges, including primary, secondary and A-level, for an extra cost.

Sharon Cawley, founder of Conexus Tuition, said: "It was absolutely essential to us that we responded immediately to continue to provide the quality of service that we are known for across Warrington.

"It is an uncertain time for families and the removal of the GCSE and A-level exams this summer brings its own complications and worries for students.

"We want our families to know that we are with them and can help them answer the many questions they may have.

"Gaps in learning in all ages can and will be bridged.

"We also wanted to ensure that we continue to be a socially responsible business.

"Many families will experience significant disruption to their lives as a result of the rules on work and social distancing.

"This is the key driver for our decision to offer a range of free events for children, alongside a range of significantly discounted, reasonably priced smaller group classes."

To add to the online classes, Conexus Tuition is offering a free Friday morning primary assembly, based on a themed approach, for younger children to participate in and add structure to their week.
