TWO more patients have died in Warrington Hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.
Sadly, this brings the town's death toll to six.
The ages of the two patients are not yet known but NHS statistics show they passed away on Wednesday and yesterday, Thursday.
According to the latest figures from Public Health England, 82 people are now confirmed to have coronavirus in Warrington, up from 65 yesterday.
This total does not include residents who could have coronavirus but have not been tested as they are in self-isolation after showing symptoms.
Across the UK there have been 684 more deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 3,605.
Since yesterday, 4,450 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered.
