A VIRTUAL farm shop has been set up online to help vulnerable families buy their weekly shopping.

Kenyon Hall Farm in Croft joined forces with web designer Morgan Branding to build an emergency click and collect service in less than one week.

James Bulmer, manager at Kenyon Hall Farm, worked with Callum Morgan from Morgan Branding to provide fresh produce and essentials to the community.

It means people can place their order online and have their shopping delivered to their car boot without any contact.

Callum said: "Normally we would allocate six weeks for this kind of build, not three days!

"It’s been one of the most rewarding jobs I’ve ever done, helping people get their essentials safely."

People should only use this service if they are in the specific groups of vulnerable people who have been instructed to fully self-isolate.

Everyone else can still visit the shop in person, which has doubled in size to create as much room as possible to maintain social distancing.

The farm shop is monitoring government advice and taking appropriate steps to minimise risk to customers and staff.

If you would like to make use of the Kenyon Hall Farm click and collect service, you can book a slot online at kenyonhall.co.uk.
