Three primary school teachers have been recognised for their commitment to the profession, that spans 80 years service between them.
Mrs Edge, Mrs Moss and Mrs Forshaw, all of Willaston C of E Primary School, were presented with ‘Long Service Awards’ by the High Sheriff of Cheshire on Tuesday March 17, in acknowledgement of their great and valuable services to the community.
Willaston Primary School teaches 212 pupils and has an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’.
Headteacher Julie Chambers said: “I felt very proud to witness the presentation of the Long Service Awards.
“They were thoroughly deserved and it was fitting to acknowledge their loyalty and dedication to our school community with a presentation from the High Sheriff of Cheshire.
“My congratulations and thanks go to Mrs Edge, Mrs Forshaw and Mrs Moss, and I very much look forward to many more years working together at Willaston C of E Primary School.”
