A SERIAL conman who tries to cheat people out of money on their doorstep has confessed to a fresh round of offences.
Tanveer Masood, 47, also occasionally known as Tanveer Ahmed, is the subject of a criminal behaviour order banning him from knocking on doors and asking for money.
But Masood, of Johnson Street, Blackburn, has appeared before borough magistrates again, charged with eight offences of breaching that order.
He was pleaded guilty to all of the charges and has been committed to Preston Crown Court for sentencing.
Masood, who has nearly 20 previous convictions for similar offending, will appear before a judge in custody on February 17.
His victims are said to include Gilly Puzan, Sean Bolton, Tina Richardson, Charlene Healey, Danail Pertov, Isobel West and Tina Jackson.
Back in 2017 Masood was jailed for conning money out of a captain at Blackburn Golf Club and a bar manageress. He was also in court last year for similar conduct.
