KIND-hearted pupils and staff at St Chad's Catholic High School in Runcorn have continued with their tradition of creating wonderful festive hampers for vulnerable people in the community.
Students from all years made up 33 hampers, filled with goodies such as biscuits, chocolates and tinned food, decorated them and included some festive decorations made by local Brownies.
The hampers were then distributed to around the borough by Adult Social Care staff from Halton Borough Council.
Jo Ryder-Smith, assistant head at St Chad's, said: "The school has been doing this for over 20 years – helping the local community is a massive part of our mission and ethos and helps the students' personal development.
"Charity work is a huge strength of the school – it is our faith in action."
