A PETROL station in Widnes was closed temporarily after the exhaust pipe from a HGV hit the canopy.
Firefighters were called to Green Oaks Way shortly after 7am to reports of a collision at the petrol station.
The station was closed as a precautionary measure and an engineer attended the site to assist with the removal of the vehicle.
Firefighters were at the scene for around 90 minutes.
