CASH stolen during a burglary at a Runcorn primary school had been raised for the BBC's Children In Need appeal.
Detectives have launched an appeal for witnesses to the break-in at Brookvale Primary School on Northwich Road, believed to have taken place sometime Between 10.45pm and 11.15pm on Thursday (November 21).
PC Stuart Beswick, of Runcorn Local Policing Unit, said: "Those responsible have gone to great lengths to break into the school before stealing money while inside.
"We are following a number of lines of enquiry and keen to hear from anyone who either has CCTV footage or information which could help with the investigation.
