A CHRISTMAS concert in aid of restoring the bells at All Saints' Parish Church in Runcorn will take place as part of fundraising campaign next month.
Organised by bellringers, in conjunction with Runcorn Community Choir, it will be held at the church at 2pm on Saturday, December 15.
It will feature performances of many favourite Christmas Carols and songs by handbell ringers, Runcorn Community Choir, and everyone attending so bring singing voices! The church is perfect for beautiful musical performances, and tickets are available via runcornchristmasconcert2019.eventbrite.co.uk.
The bells of Runcorn Parish Church were cast in 1851 and are in need of major restoration work to ensure they can ring out for another century.
The bellringers are raising £75,000 and need the help of the local community to make it happen.
There with light refreshments (including homemade cakes) for sale before and after.
All proceeds will go to the restoration fund, and no performers are charging a fee.
