A MAN from Widnes has been charged following the theft of commercial batteries from an industrial premises.
Scott Naughton, of Leigh Avenue, was arrested in Christleton Court, Runcorn, at around 7pm on Sunday October 10.
The batteries were stolen from premises in Christleton Court.
Naughton has subsequently been charged with theft, being found in enclosed premises, going equipped for theft, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.
The 31-year-old has also been charged with indecent behaviour at a police station.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday October 22).
