A MAN has been arrested at the UK border over a burglary at a town centre café.

The male was arrested in Kent as he stepped off a cross channel ferry from Calais, having been wanted by both Cheshire Police and Merseyside Police.

Cheshire officers had been hoping to trace the man over a burglary at Patisserie Valerie in the Old Market Place back in July, when items were stolen from the branch’s staff office.
