NORTHGATE Street, Chester was closed as emergency services were called to concern for the welfare of a man on the bridge on Thursday morning (October 10).
A police spokesperson said: "At 6am on October 10 police were called to Northgate Street in Chester following reports of concern for safety of a man on the bridge.
"Police closed the road and negotiated with the man who came down from the bridge and was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital."
