A SCHOOL in Little Sutton has opened a new sensory room to give a boost to pupils with many different needs.
St Mary of the Angels Primary School in Rossall Grove has just opened the room, which provides special needs facilities and is also a relaxing, ‘chill out’ zone, for all of the school’s pupils to enjoy.
Headteacher Rob Hughes said: “With financial help from Redrow Homes, we’ve been able to create a fantastic facility which will help pupils with many different needs, whilst also creating a place for all pupils to de-stress and relax.
"We are already seeing significantly improved outcomes for pupils.”
The school is celebrating its best SATS results ever this year, with scores amongst the very best nationally.
