LAST week in Yester Years we brought you the story of the history of Tetley Walker’s in the town before the closure of the brewery in the mid 1990s.
The brewing giant was one of Warrington’s most famous employers.
This week we have been sent this great picture from Malcolm Groake.
It features a memory from 1949 of a new Bedford truck delivered to Walkers from PLP Motors, the Vauxhall /Bedford dealers.
Here it is parked outside the Lord Rodney on Winwick Road.
Do you have memories of the firm or did you work there?
