A MAN has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and use of threatening and abusive language following an incident in Widnes.
Lewis Sean Fox, 22, of Dean Street, Widnes, appeared at North Cheshire Magistrates' on Friday (August 16) where he was remanded in custody.
He is next due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday September 13.
The charges relates to an incident on Hale Road, Widnes, which occurred shortly after 8pm last Monday (August 12).
