CHILDREN teamed up for an enterprising afternoon of endeavour.
The year six youngsters at St Wilfrid’s Primary School in Grappenhall worked in teams to make products from recycled materials to send to the rest of the school.
The £1,270 raised was shared equally between Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and Cheshire Dogs Home.
The teams then competed in a Dragons’ Den style contest where three dragons, two school governors and a former teacher, decided who had the best project.
Reduce, Recycle, Reuse were named the overall winners and Merdoc the most innovative design.
