A MAN was treated by paramedics after a house fire in Runcorn.
Emergency services were called to Whitchurch Way at around 5.20pm on Sunday, August 11 following reports of a house fire.
Three fire engines from Runcorn, Widnes and Warrington attended.
On arrival firefighters discovered the blaze was in a third floor room.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire and crews used a large fan to clear smoke from the home.
A man was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by North West Ambulance Service paramedics.
Fire crews remained at the scene for around two hours and 30 minutes.
