POLICE are appealing for witnesses after burglars forced their way into a Runcorn home and snatched an iMac computer.

Sometime between 11am and 1.45pm on Tuesday, August 6 burglars broke into a house on Juniper Grove, Murdishaw by forcing open a window.

They then snatched a 27 inch iMac computer in an aluminium colour.

Now Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Detective constable Ciara Murphy said: “The item stolen during the burglary is very distinctive and I want to appeal to anyone who sees someone selling the item to report it to us.

“I would also encourage anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously around the time of the burglary in and around this area to contact us with information – no matter how small.”
