The family of a 75-year-old man who died following a collision in Widnes have paid tribute to him.
Owen Batty passed away on Monday, July 15, following an accident on Derby Road, near to Mill Lane.
The incident involved a grey BMW X1 being driven by Mr Batty, and a silver Nissan Note.
Following Mr Batty’s death his family have now issued the following tribute: “Owen was a gentle man with a brilliant sense of humour.
“He will be truly missed by his family and everyone who ever knew him.”
Mr Batty’s funeral will be held at Widnes Crematorium at 12pm, this Friday, July 26.
Family flowers only and any donations are to be made to North West Air Ambulance.
