POLICE said they were called to reports of concern for a man who had been "behaving erratically" at a railway station.

Officers were called shortly before 8.30am on Tuesday (July 16) to Station Road, Garswood.

They attended following reports of a man behaving "erratically" at Garswood train station.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 8.25am to reports of concern for safety of a male at Garswood train station.

"He was behaving erratically. He was spoken to and the matter was passed on to British Transport Police."
