A MAN from Warrington has been charged with sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman in Widnes.
Paul Garden was arrested at his home in Armstrong Close, Birchwood, Warrington, shortly before 4pm on Monday.
The 35-year-old has since been charged with sexual assault.
The charge relates to an incident on Henderson Road in Widnes at approximately 3.30am on Sunday.
Garden has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Wednesday, July 17).
