AN investigation has been launched after a deliberate fire involving dumped rubbish in Runcorn.
Emergency services were called at around 8.45pm on Sunday, July 7 to Halton Lodge Avenue following reports of a fire.
On arrival crews discovered the fire involved dumped rubbish and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters left the scene at around 9pm.
Cheshire Police have now launched an investigation as it is believed that the fire had been started deliberately.
