POLICE are investigating after an arson attack on a car in Widnes.
Emergency services were called at around 7.15pm on Sunday, June 16 following reports of a fire in Arley Drive.
On arrival, firefighters discovered a saloon car on fire which had spread to nearby trees.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
The car was then recovered by police officers.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately and Cheshire Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
