Crews called to more wheelie bin fires
FIREFIGHTERS have been called to extinguish more fires involving wheelie bins.
Crews were called to Avondale Drive, Widnes at 8.20pm, after a report that a number of wheelie bins were on fire.
Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish them.
Meanwhile, shortly after 12.30am firefighters were called to a wheelie bin fire on Houghton Street, Widnes.
Crews used a hose reel jet to put out the blaze.
The fire was started deliberately and anyone with information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101.
The incidents follow a case on Friday night when a wheelie bin was torched on Barnes Road.
