TWO men have been arrested after a man was held captive and assaulted in a flat in Parr.
Officers received a report at around 1.15pm that a man in his 40s had been punched to the face and kept inside a flat on Fleet Lane against his will by two men, believed to be known to him.

Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to hospital with face and chest injuries where he remains in a stable condition.
Two men from St Helens, aged 42 and 53, were arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment.
The 42-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
They have both been released on bail.
A police presence remained in the area this morning, with officers coming in and out of the property, which was formerly the Bull's Head pub.
A window of the building was smashed.
