CCTV images have been released of two men police want to speak to in connection with fraud offences in Runcorn.
On Thursday, January 31 a series of fraudulent transactions took place at shops, fast food outlets and petrol stations in the town.
The transactions involved a bank card that the victim – a woman from Runcorn – did not know was missing.
Enquiries in relation to the offences are ongoing and officers believe that the men in the CCTV images may have important information to help with their investigation.
Officers are urging anyone who recognises them or thinks they may know who the men are to get in touch.
Police constable Alex Beddard, of Runcorn Local Policing Unit, said: “We believe that the men in the CCTV images may have vital information to help with our ongoing investigation into fraudulent transactions in Runcorn.
“If you think you recognise the men in the CCTV images or know who they are please call the team here at Runcorn Police Station on 101, quoting IML 309067, give us the details
onlineor contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
“I would also like to appeal directly to the men in the CCTV images to get in touch.”
