An e-cigarette caused burns to a casualty
A MAN was taken to hospital after being burned by an e-cigarette in Runcorn this morning, Sunday.
At 1.10am, three fire engines from Runcorn, Widnes and Penketh attended Beacon Hill View and found a man suffering burns to one of his legs.
Firefighters administered first aid and oxygen therapy to the casualty before handing him over to the care of paramedics.
He was taken to Whiston Hospital by ambulance.
