A RUNCORN-based charity which works with children and young people affected by cerebral palsy has a brand new software system thanks to a business’ dedicated support.
Stick ‘n’ Step needed a new finance software system to improve its financial management and reporting.
It approached Cheshire Connect, a organisation that matches businesses with charities, which put them in touch with international environmental consultancy RSK.
Sarah Smithson, operations manager at Stick ‘n’ Step, said: “Working with Cheshire Connect and being introduced to Carole from RSK has made a huge difference to a problem we were grappling with.
“Being supported by someone with fantastic accounting knowledge and experience has enabled us to move forward with our continued improvement plan and means we are utilising all aspects of our new financial software system.”
Carole Williamson from RSK added, “I am proud and honoured to have been able to help Stick ‘n’ Step.
“It is a great charity doing very worthwhile work. It really does help families and gives parents support and a break.
“We were delighted to be asked to support Stick ‘n’ Step and it has been a pleasure learning about the amazing work it does delivering transformational services for families.
“We will follow their development with interest and look forward to a continued relationship.”
