A HARDWORKING young tennis player from a village club has been selected to represent Cheshire.
Nick Fance, 18, has been playing tennis at Grappenhall Village Tennis Club since he was 12 and his training is now paying off as he will be representing the region in the sport.
The teenager is the first person to represent Cheshire from the club in more than 20 years, making him a sporting star in the making.
Grappenhall Tennis Club is currently searching for more people to join them, including beginners, advanced players, or those wishing to play cardio tennis to get fit.
It has eight courts, six astro turf and two hard, and floodlights for members to play all year round.
