The Chester Road, London Road and Knutsford Road swing bridges were closed at rush hour this morning.
SWING bridge openings at rush hour have caused misery for motorists across Warrington this morning.
The Chester Road, London Road and Knutsford Road bridges were shut for a passing boat at around 8am.
Long queues were reported as a result through the Bridge Foot, Stockton Heath and Chester Road areas.

Bridge operator Peel Ports is required to limit the number rush hours openings to less than 100 times a year - with the latest available figures for 2017 standing at 45 closures.
