A 16-YEAR-old from Runcorn has battled tough competition from across the UK to win a prestigious pageant title.
Ruby Hill is celebrating after winning the title of Miss Teen Galaxy – UK 2019 along with best in fashion wear and swimwear
The teenager has volunteered in the community and raised money for the pageants chosen charity, The Christie, in the run-up to the big day.
The Christie cancer charity, based in Manchester, will receive £37,000 thanks to the 2019 pageant finalists, taking the total raised to a quarter of a million pounds.
Holly Pirrie, director of the UK Galaxy Pageants, said: "I am so pleased for Ruby, she worked tirelessly as a finalist and she truly deserved to win the Miss Teen Galaxy – UK crown.
"Ruby is going to have the time of her life at the international final in America."
Ruby has taken home an prize package including a £250 voucher to spend at The Dress Studio, earrings from Earring Envy, false lashes from Lash Dance, luxury hair products from Duncan Fisher, a photoshoot and introduction to EKA Model Agency, plus others.
Ruby has won herself a trip to America and a place at the international final of Miss Teen Galaxy where she will compete against girls from all over the world for the international crown.
