WIDNES Golf Club has voted in it's new Lady Captain for the next 12 months.
Margaret Bond teed off for the first time in February to a crowd of club members.
She was previously captain in 2014, making her the first lady member of the club to achieve the role for the second time.
Margaret will be holding charity events throughout the year and the money will be donated to her chosen charity, The Christie Charitable Fund, based in Manchester.
The Christie charity raises money for a wide range of projects and initiatives including a cancer information centre, wig service, art room and complementary therapies.
It is also raising money for major developments including a proton beam therapy centre and integrated procedures unit.
