A TEENAGER from Runcorn has bagged Crissy Rock as the host of his newest concert in aid of Halton Haven Hospice.

Ricardo Benig, 19, is returning to The Brindley theatre on June 18 after successfully organising his first charity show for the hospice last year.

He is hoping that his variety show, Into the Spotlight, will be bigger and better than ever with a selection of acts and a well-known host.

Crissy Rock, who appeared as Janey York in Benidorm, will be on stage alongside musical performances from throughout the decades.

The live concert is all in aid of Halton Haven Hospice to help the charity continue to take care of ill and terminally ill people.

Ricardo said: "Last year I chose Halton Haven because it is a cause close to everyone's heart.

"With it being a charity, they rely on donations to keep it running.

"No matter where you go, there is always someone who has been affected by illness."

Ricardo will be making the event an annual fundraiser for the hospice and it is hoped that patients from Halton Haven will be able to attend and enjoy the performances.
