A PARA ice hockey team is appealing for new members from Widnes and Runcorn.
Manchester Mayhem Para Ice Hockey Club is the north west's only para ice hockey team and trains out of Widnes Ice Rink.
Peter Hagan from the team, said: "We are the only club in the area.
"It's probably unlike anything you've tried before!"
He explained how the team is open to people of all abilities and disabilities.
Players use a special chair to move around the ice, meaning all members have the same opportunities during the game and are treated as equals.
Peter added: "It's a great leveller for all people- anyone who has used a wheelchair will be used to the co-ordination so are at an advantage!"
The team trains bi-weekly from 8.30-9.30pm on Tuesdays.
Anyone wishing to try the sport, sponsor the team or watch, can contact Manchester Mayhem at info@manchestermayhem.co.uk or by visiting the website.
