RESIDENTS are invited to relive the construction of the Mersey Gateway through art.
Artist Shaun Smyth has created a series of painting and drawings documenting the process of building the bridge and appeared at a special meet the artist event on Saturday.
Shaun, from Runcorn, is a visual artist and has engaged with the innovative project for the past few years.
The Constructing the Mersey Gateway Bridge exhibition is being held at The Brindley Theatre in Runcorn and will be open to the public until April 5.
It highlights the significance of the Mersey Gateway to the region and as one of the most important infrastructure investments in the UK.
