A CASUALTY was cut from their car after a crash in Widnes last night.
The emergency services were called to Dundalk Road shortly after 7pm yesterday, Monday.
Two fire engines were called to the scene of the two-vehicle collision, with crews administering first aid on one person trapped in a car before cutting them free.
This person and a second casualty were then taken to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service.
