MOST people who were alive at the time will know exactly what they were doing and where on July 20, 1969.

That was the date of the moon landings.

So popular did the event prove to be that people are still talking about it 50 years later.

When Warrington Museum got a piece of moon dust back in the 1970s, it proved so popular that residents queued around the block to see it.

Although from all amounts the sample of dust itself was rather small.
