WA8 properties were affected
HOMES in Widnes have been without power this evening, Saturday.
An unplanned power cut occurred in the WA8 postcode area at about 5.30pm.
Scottish Power confirmed it was caused by a fault in the underground cable network and it affected a large number of properties.
Engineers attended the scene and power was restored by about 8.30pm.
