RECENT apprentices from across Halton are invited to a ceremony celebrating their achievements.

The Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Graduation will take place on Thursday, March 7 at St George’s Hall in Liverpool.

BBC presenter, Jay Blades, will be attending the event to congratulate and celebrate the success of hundreds of apprentices.

The apprenticeship graduation aims to give apprentices from the six Liverpool City Region boroughs; Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral, the same recognition that university students receive upon the completion of a degree.

Jay said: "I am very excited to be involved in the Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Graduation as it is a great way to recognise and reward the success of apprentices in front of their employers, family and friends.

"Apprenticeships are increasingly being seen on a par with a university route to success and the Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Graduation will demonstrate this."

Tickets are still available for the graduation via this website.

To attend, you must be a Liverpool City Region resident and have completed an apprenticeship programme within the 2017/2018 academic year.

The apprenticeship can be in any career sector and you can bring up to two guests to help celebrate your success.
