RESIDENTS have just a few days left to help re-draw the council ward boundaries across Halton.

All the boundaries are set to change in Daresbury, Hale, Moore, Preston Brook, Runcorn and Widnes.

A public consultation on proposals will close on Monday, February 11.

Professor Colin Mellors, chair of the commission, said: "This is the last chance for local people to have their say on ward boundaries for all borough councillors in Halton.

"We want to hear evidence from the people who know Halton best about the shape of local communities across the borough before we finalise our recommendations in March."

People can have their say directly by visiting this website.

The full recommendations and detailed maps are also available on the commission’s main website.

Anyone wishing to make a submission to the commission should write or email by February 11.

Postal submissions should be sent to: The Review Officer (Halton), Local Government Boundary Commission for England, 1st floor, Windsor House, 50 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0TL.

Emailed submissions should be sent to reviews@lgbce.org.uk.
