Police were called to the property in Appleton
A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with arson following reports of a small fire in Appleton.
The teen, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested after police were called to St Mary’s Close in Appleton at around 8.40pm on Friday.
The 15-year-old, from Northwich, has been released on conditional bail to appear at Warrington Youth Court on February 20.
Police say there were no reports of any injuries and the fire caused minor damage to a letterbox.
As a result of this, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service was not required to attend.
