A 58-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with assaulting three people in Widnes.
Sharon Bennett, of Townley Court, is set to return to Warrington Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, February 26.
She has been charged with one count of assault by beating and two counts of assault by beating an emergency service worker on Saturday.
The first incident, which occurred in Albert Square Shopping Centre at around 1.30pm, involved a child.
The other, which occurred on Albert Road at about 1.45pm, involved two police officers who were responding to reports of the first incident.
The victims all sustained minor injuries that did not require medical attention.
